This note looks at the state of the US midterm elections with one full month before Election Day. While finding a high chance remains of a Republican win in the House, the result in the Senate is more complicated – the Democrats might be able to increase their majority. Is this to do with higher liberal motivation related to abortion access, better-perceived candidates or structural good fortune?
