Big Tech Antitrust: sooner or later?

This note examines the level of support for Big Tech regulation and antitrust action among politicians in Washington. While we think breakups of Silicon Valley giants are inevitable, the current composition of both parties on Capitol Hill may slow such moves down; however after Donald Trump’s bans from social media, we expect voter concerns about Big Tech to influence primaries for the 2022 midterms.
